Tell Bing about every new page the moment it ships.
IndexBoost submits new and updated URLs through the Bing Webmaster URL Submission API and IndexNow, which also reaches Yandex and Yep.
How Bing indexing works
Add a key once per site. Every page found in your sitemap after that is sent to Bing automatically.
- 1
Add your site
Import sites from Google Search Console. Other sites verified under the same Bing Webmaster account are discovered automatically.
- 2
Paste your Bing API key
Copy the API key from Bing Webmaster Tools under API access. IndexBoost checks the key before saving it.
- 3
Verify IndexNow
Host the IndexNow key file on your domain so search engines can confirm the submissions come from you.
- 4
Submit automatically
New and updated URLs from your sitemap go to the Bing URL Submission API and IndexNow, within the daily quota.
Two official routes into Bing
- Bing URL Submission API
- Submits URLs straight to Bing Webmaster Tools for the sites you have verified there, using your own API key.
- IndexNow
- One IndexNow submission is shared with every participating search engine, including Bing, Yandex and Yep.
- Quota aware
- Submissions respect Bing’s daily quota. When the limit is reached, the rest wait for the next day instead of failing.
- Re-submit on demand
- Request an IndexNow re-submission of any URL from the dashboard or through the MCP server.
- Bing backlinks
- See which backlinks to your site Bing already knows about, next to those reported by Google.
- Inspect in one click
- Each link opens straight into Bing Webmaster URL Inspection, so you can check what Bing sees.
Common questions
What is the difference between the Bing API and IndexNow?
The Bing URL Submission API sends URLs only to Bing and needs a Bing Webmaster API key. IndexNow is an open protocol shared by several search engines, verified with a key file on your domain. IndexBoost uses both.
Where do I find my Bing API key?
Open Bing Webmaster Tools, go to Settings, then API access, and copy the API key. Paste it into the Bing step of your site settings.
Do I need Bing Webmaster Tools?
For the Bing URL Submission API, yes, the site must be verified there. IndexNow works without it, as long as the key file is reachable on your domain.
Does IndexNow help with Google?
No. Google does not take part in IndexNow. Google submissions go through the Google Indexing API instead.
How many URLs can I send to IndexNow?
Every plan includes up to 500 IndexNow submissions per day.
